I'm almost certain 12 Years a Slave is a drama.

"12 Years A Slave" was something my dad didn't like when he watched it. At least he didn't hate it, like you did. I would have given Best Picture to "Captain Philips". "Django Unchained" wasn't as good as either, IMHO.
