I have a dell laptop ,and normally it works fine. Whenever I play a NG game my info saves. I shut down my computer and next time I turn it on, all my saved info is gone. Has this happened to anybody else? Any idea how to fix this problem?

Well there's your first problem... Use Chrome... or set your computer on fire if you even think about using Firefox.

Cause Firefox is worse than IE.

Cookies are found in security settings. Just goto internet options and poke around. You'll find the settings.

also if you havent done so already you should right click on a game or movie and allow newgrounds to save infinite space.

Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer.

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click OK.

That is how Microsoft says to turn on cookies in IE.

It's also possible that you have flash local storage set to something low. Right click any flash thing > Settings > Local Storage. Mine is at 1MB which hasn't ever caused an issue.

I tried this , but still having the same issue. It has been very difficult to earn medals, since many games are long and can not be completed in one outing.

I have tried all the good ideas, but none have worked so far. It is so frustrating losing all my progress in a game every night.

Still losing my saved info every night. I would hate to have to buy a new computer to fix this issue.

Flash doesn't save games via cookies, it uses Local Shared Objects. The first thing to check is to right click any flash game and select "Settings". On the "Local Storage" tab, make sure the slider isn't set to none. I would suggest allowing at LEAST 1MB.

Note that any lost save games will not come back because you did this (they are gone forever), but new saves SHOULD take effect.

If that fails to work, it's likely due to an anti-malware or ad-blocking app or toolbar you have installed that is assuming all Shared Objects are unwanted cookies. You'll have to figure out how to configure those on your own, but you will need to either create a rule to allow the domain uploads.ungrounded.net, or outright disable whatever program it is.

Since you are an IE user, there's a good chance you may have some toolbar installed without your knowledge as IE (especially versions before IE 11) is known to be full of easily exploited browser hijacks. It couldn't hurt to give Google Chrome a try and see if things work in it.
