Unfortunately, stopping a knife man is more difficult than you thought. This guy wielded 2 knifes.

These things happen fast and no one was expecting a fight. It's easy for people who haven't faced down any psychopaths lately to speculate but being there while a guy swings a knife around is a different story.

I have nothing against people who can use pot and lead a productive life. It's these sanctimonius hippies that make me wish I was a riot cop in the 60's

What a revolting situation it is. And of course, right after the news carries that story, it's followed by the POTUS speaking at Fort Hood, scene of not one but two homicidal wildings.

If this was a case of bullying, whomever pressed this kid should answer for what he did.

Now building Vault 101, reverse engineered from yesterdays technology.. or I could ignore it, and let you figure it out |:

Yeah dude, but listen, if I would have been there... I would have like all grabbed the knives out of his hands all fast, and then all roundhouse kicked him to the face, and then all done like the Vulcan neck pinch, and then all done like a leg drop off the top ropes and put him in the boston crab. Then I'd say something like, "Looks like you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer heh heh heh..."

KNIFE RAMPAGES WOUND

GUN RAMPAGES KILL

That is the simplest version of an obvious argument that nobody wants to acknowledge.

>implying knives can't kill people
>implying there haven't been deaths in mass stabbings

To back up your point, here was what happened in China.

To be honest I'm not sure if I would have acted sooner either. I mean, if you're a kid relaxing at school and people around you start screaming because they just got stabbed by a dual-wielding knife maniac it's gonna take you a few seconds to access the situation, and even then who wants to risk getting stabbed?

I was originally under the impression that he had stabbed 19 people at a licketysplit rate of like 2 shanks per second in a crowded hallway or something while everyone presumably just stood there over the 10 second span, but knowing now that it was over the span of 5 minutes makes it much less funny. Maybe some day my conga line stabbing daydream will be fully realized.

Maybe he just kept running to new areas?

I'm wondering how he got the knives into the school. Most of the city schools have metal detectors. Guess they don't. Probably will now. Though people will just focus on metal detectors and none of the actual issues that cause school rampages (bullying, parenting, shitty schools, etc).

Actually, the stabbing almost did kill a girl (and there are four criticals). What ended up saving her is one of her friends was smart enough to apply pressure.
