How is it that hotels have the most comfortable sheets in the world? Every hotel has the softest bed sheets that are cool to the touch. Sure, people have probably had hot dirty sex on them before they were washed, but they're still magical!

I've never been able to sleep on hotel mattresses, so even if the sheets happen to be top-notch (and they usually aren't) I have a lot of trouble sleeping and wind up on the floor in a sleeping bag.

I just jumped back a page and I realized this thread is called "Hotel Sheets!" and I have previously read it as "Holy Sheets!"

My brain actually believed so much that you were making a play on words that it actually manipulated the information provided by my eyesight to conform to that sincere belief.

That's fucked up that I believe in plays on words so much.

It's all in buying nice sheets, right now I'm using awesome Egyptian cotton ones that I received for Christmas. It may seem like a small thing, but you really do notice a difference switching from your old bedding to new, nice stuff.

They get washed and dried more regularly than the average bed sheet.
You know how your sheets feel amazing the first night after you've washed them? Hotel sheets have just been cleaned.
I worked at a hotel.

The sheets may sometimes be comfortable, but damn, those pillows are always hard as a rock. Glad I never travel. Too busy being at school.
