Again, some theory instead of actual reality. This doesn't convince me at all. You know, there is one popular model of Soviet Gulags; a harsh image of people dying of hunger and tiredness. The truth was, that every gulag camp had it's own rules and customs. Pretty similiar thing was among german lagers. Rules are just on the paper, people hardly ever do what they're told, when there is no enough supervision. How about I ask you how is other military equipment kept? Tanks perhaps. 20 locks, 100 code booths, 1200 fingerprints and million of guards on the way? Who cares, remember that guy who stole a fucking tank and police shot him right after they opened the hatch? GEE, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? Just get fucking real and stop posting conventional bullshit.
Personally, I think you're trying too hard. Your arguments are not intelligent, they're just suitable for your perception and way of thinking. They're not really convincing to other people.
You're trying to compare anecdotes, to actual government procedure regarding personnel who carry top secret clearances. Nice. Tanks are actually kept in large fenced in motor pools on this base with concertina wire topping the fences. In any case, you aren't providing any real evidence or personal experiences. You're just trying to compare your conspiracy theorist stuff to my prior career and job experience. And I think the worst part is that instead of actually trying to refute me, you are using anecdotes, and lampooning my post with that terrible parody of a fallacious ad hominem.
Whoopdy do, a guy stole a single obselete tank almost 20 years ago from a national guard depot. That is not comparable to a military base with 40,000 soldiers and over 2,000 fighting vehicles.
I'm sitting here, giving you actual numbers, and the procedures I was involved in when it came to the securing of these weapons, and you're sitting there simply with a shit eating NUH-UH 12 year old mentality. I especially like the "people hardly ever do what they're told" bit. You do what you're told in the military, or you face severe repercussions. People die if orders are not followed. And most of those soldiers on fort hood are combat veterans.
When you have something besides anecdote and "NUH-UH" discourse, please reply. Otherwise, just hush. Because you don't come across as cool and edgy, you aren't one upping me, even though that is definitely your game, and you're just fucking up this thread with your retarded "I wish I was russian" posts.

What was your game plan with that faked wall of text there? Not only was it not at all in his voice but I we can all see he didn't say it. Were you counting on the page break to come a little sooner than it did and start a fresh page with you calling him out and people not looking back to see? That didn't happen and I'd be mad if it was less hilarious.

I'm guessing the idea was somewhat stolen from that one South Park episode but 8/10 solely for execution.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.My letterboxd.
I hope the families of the victims are feeling the support from their community and the military on this.
That's really the main issue.
After reading through the comments sections of the article it seems that George H.W. Bush signed the no carry law into affect, which has become what I believe should be the center of the controversy, would this have happened if that law wasn't existent? Would they have at least been able to defend themselves easier?
Lets not forget that, this rule only goes so far as to stop sane people worried about their careers from bringing weapons, not insane people trying to cause damage.
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THAT DUDE WITH THE RED HAT BROWN TRENCH COAT AND SHOTGUN?!?! I miss the old ASSASSIN days. Click Me

Wow, that didn't work out at all. Thanks for the explanation.

Makakaov is unfortunately incapable of intelligent discussion and discourse. This is par for the course for him anytime there is a difference in views.

The issue has been addressed and is done with. I don't want this thread turning into a fight. On with discussing things.

Right. Well anyway, my point is that THIS, is not what Fort Hood looks like.
Fort hood is a military base, sure. But minus the gates, it's just like any other small town. It has everything a town would have in ways of amenities, and there aren't watch towers with spotlights and patrols with attack dogs.
Once you are inside the base, except for a few highly secured areas that are not really public access anyways, it looks like just a stroll through your everyday American suburb. There aren't even fences that completely surround the base. Before 9/11, you could there were literally NO GATES. You could just drive right on base without an ID or even being stopped. The only time you would be checked for an ID is if you tried to use a facility like the movie theater, grocery store, mess hall, or gym. In many ways, it was just like a college town.
