Not really, but I did teach myself how to throw em by sharpening various wood poles and practicing in my youth.

I got good at throwing stars, never really got the hang of javelins, axes or knives.

Although a sax is a great weapon, like the tomahawk, which is ranged and melee equally effectively.

I have a melee tomahawk and had a throwing one, but over time the shaft cracked so I converted it to a greataxe. I never tried throwing stars but I tried knives. I suck lol.
