How's this for irony? A California politician well known for this strong support of gun control laws has been arrested for illegal dealing of firearms. I'd imagine this could really make the gun control people look bad. Also, doesn't this kind of thing seem to be happening a lot lately (that is, someone gets in trouble for the thing they're supposed be against)?

Obviously he was in support of gun control because it would drive his illegal profits up.

lol
I really doubt that the evidence against a Canadian politician that was just arrested for illegal firearm dealing is very fucking ambiguous
"Oh I didn't mean to introduce you to that firearms dealer in exchange for campaign money, I had no idea that he sold illegal guns"

I'm not debating the idea that politicians are taking bribes, or enabling factions of criminals and dealers to be in contact with the other group, I'm asking about your validity and your prominent whoring of the ideas presented in this article.
I challenge you, Mr, Entice on grounds of child pornography, prohibited weapons and harboring terrorists in your place of residence.
The news headline would read:
"Mr. Entice Internet commoner, accused of alleged child pornography, and terrorism on US soil."
Then you would come along and by your own words would say that:
"Mr. Entice is guilty of cp, terrorism, and trading prohibited weapons, jail that fuck for life"

Had to be a whistleblower, or the rep is just stupid enough to get himself caught.

It said in the article that he introduced an undercover investigator to the dealer in exchange for money

And you know what? That just might be the reason.
Can't wait to see how the other anti gun idiots handle that.

When the guys being thumbed up are accusing a political of party of having ties with al-Qaeda, you know its an unbiased source of news.
Fucking americans, they have more guns than sense, thinking the only way to stop gun violence is to arm ever so more people until everyone has a fucking gun but none of them have the wits or the guts to use it, as if merely having a gun on your side stops yourself being shot by another dude behind you or before you even have chance to draw your gun.

from what i've seen, anti-gun people aren't anti-gun, they're anti-gun for certain people.
Guns are only bad if you're a citizen. No sir, not even something weak like an AR. That's too dangerous. If you're a cop or soldier, suddenly guns of any caliber and power are A-OK

Yeah, no. This is the behavior of one individual only. And not only this, but it really doesn't change anything to the rational thinking behind the arguments for gun control. You can't dismiss an idea because of the contradiction in the behavior of the one who carries the idea.

Irony at its finest is the best way to describe on what's happening when it comes to that news article, needless to say the corruption of that politician became exposed right in the open public.
I have no doubt something like that has been going on for awhile and I also have no doubt their are others like Sen. Leland Yee going gun-control advocate this and gun-control advocate that on the outside and in trade dealing with illegal arms trades on the inside, who are still at large even to this day.
Gun Control won't solve the issues of the violence of today, people just need to be responsible for the very weapons they own, not just guns.
