Usual Michael Bay shenanigans. Lots of shots of shit blowing up, because nobody wants to see marital arts in a TMNT movie, they want to see a city exploding

Shredder is some white guy, who created the turtles to fight crime? What?

This looks more similar to Transformers than I feared.

I'm kind of tired of seeing blockbuster movies with such a serious tone made out of such cheesy cartoon characters. It's kind of hilarious though.

I will skip it.

Why is Shredder white? I like William Fichtner as an actor, but Shredder is Japanese.
Where is Splinter?
Where is Casey Jones?
Is Shredder really supposed to be the turtles' creator in this? Cuz he's not.
Megan Fox? Really?
Why all the guns?
Where are the Foot clan ninja? Were those guys with the guns supposed to be the Foot? Cuz they're not.
Why is this movie a thing?
Why can't Bay lay off our childhoods and try to make something decent again like the Rock?

Yet another recent movie I have to pretend doesn't exist, along with the Robocop remake.

It also seems that the turtles are also fighting police and the military.

It's awful but better than I expected.

No childhood left un ruined.

Looks awful. I'll stick to the Nickelodeon show, at least is fun.

I agree with about every complaint that's already been brought up so I'll just add my own. Someone made the turtles, on purpose? Even if you weren't an origin snob like me that's wrong. The turtles happened from a twist of Daredevil mocking fate. They weren't designed or meant to be but they are. That's a key factor in who they are.

I could have missed this but I didn't see anything there that said they were aliens. I assumed they dropped that.

Honestly I hate the argument that the movie is going to suck because "IT'S RUINING MY CHILDHOOD!" How? The classic cartoon series and movies are still available to buy at Amazon.com and other retailers, so unless Michael Bay has the ability to go back in time to change the series all together, you're childhood isn't ruined. What ruined your childhood? TIME, and GROWING UP.

Aside from that, though, Shredder (Oroku Saki) is a white guy in this version.

Hes a producer and Im pretty sure theyre only using his name to attract "movie goers" We dont even know how much hes contributing.

Anyway the turtles look better than I thought save for Michelangelo. The movie just looks ok from that teaser,the only negative I can see is Megan Fox.

Yeah but stop saying "AHH MICHAEL BAY IS RUINING MY TURTLES" because in reality the director is the person in charge, and it looked fine. You're only seeing it because you want to see it, Michael Bay is not the only flashy director.
