It's no different than people liking top 40 radio or Bud Light.

I'm sure that decent shows are constantly dismissed so shit like this can continue to fester
Oh joy, I can attempt to put up with Bazinga! shirts for another three years.
Next thing you know they'll be announcing a Deadpool movie, I don't know which of these would be worse news.

Oh God, I saw a guy with that shirt before.
Who the hell would advertise that they watch that show?

The same people who love claim to enjoy comics but only know characters from blockbuster movies.
lol I'm sorry this news bothers you guys so much. I, on the other hand might watch the reruns on TBS if nothing else is on.
I hate TBS. For whatever reason, they're always playing shows with assistance for the visually impaired, it fucking sucks.
I can't enjoy anything they play because I constantly have to hear a slightly annoying voice say everything that's happening.

Does someone wearing a shirt have that much of an effect on your life?

It's the center of my existence, my life hinges on what people wear.
Not really, it just annoys me.

How can someone wearing a shirt possibly annoy you?

My boyfriend does.
Techno don't you get it? People who in no way affect my life liking things that I don't like really frustrates me, even though their taste NO WAY impacts my life. I mean their show gets renewed for 3 more years, why not MY shows. If people weren't watching Big Bang Theory then they'd be watching my shows right?? Even though they're on a different night at different times with different networks and I just download then myself not even watch them all with a nielsen box thing whatever that is I'm not American. But come on Techno don't you get how much some kid wearing a BAZINGA t-shirt affects ME and MY life??

Because people have become so superficial that they can justify using a person's interest in a TV show to feel better about the fact that they don't have enough interests to hold a conversation about something other than how much better they are for not watching that show.
It's A Good Show

I really appreciate you putting words in my mouth. It saves me the time of answering ZJ's question since you know so much about me!

i'm going to assume that someone is watching it

I guess there's one good thing about this; fans can't pretend it's some ultra-secret underground show that no one else but them remembers, and it was so good and got cancelled way before its time.
To me, it's just another sitcom. It's not horrible or anything, but the level of attention and praise it receives is just obnoxious. People try to pass it off as intelligent comedy, but it isn't, it's comedy about intelligent things. That's all.
