And by that I mean having all the modern conveniences (TV, game console, computer) just without ever being online?
And I assume you could still activate Windows over the phone, right?
Young people would go into a apocalypse

Depends.
Gradually weening society off of the internet, one day at a time, replacing existing functions with new (or old) methods? Yes.
Instantly removing the internet from the world and seeing what happens? Hell no. Complete chaos and total anarchy in the first 24 hours.
I just decided that I need a signature.

I went into an apocalypse once and I can't say I recommend it.
You look nice today.
This guy brutally sodomizes me.
Cereal is pretty cool. If you're cool you'll add me on Steam. Also, Letterboxd.

Back in my day we woke up to the apocalypse
That would be the worst thing to ever happen.

All the old people that I know use computers and have internet access.
Some are just starting to learn how to use tablets for the first time.

The Amish seem to be doing fine without it.

I'm sure if you gave one of them a taste of the modern world he wouldn't want to Amish a day more.
I was without power and cable (no internet) last friday
and Saturday morning. The only way I could get internet was on my phone (which could either load stuff really slow or at an okay speed (even when running 4G).
It was horrible.
Well, it wasn't really that bad, but still rather annoying
4:08 PM - Detective Prince: why does it matter HOW MANY of a thing you've watched
4:09 PM - Nor // [Loli]: Anime is a fucking sport
Yall young nigs are so fucking spoiled.
tbh I think it would be kinda nice
less distractions, I could actually focus on stuff and maybe do something "productive" with my time.
I wouldn't really need internet; except for the fact that I keep a strict schedule of depositing every single day.
i did this for about a year and a half with little to no internet
it was in the middle of nowhere so the only thing i could get was 10g limited connection. with four users, this means i could check my e-mail and the news/weather and that was it.
i survived off minecraft and a old copy of battlefeild
other than that chores kept me busy...3 feet of snow and our hose to the well was freezing all the time so unlucky me there was always something that needed to be done

My grandparents have never touched a computer
also they don't even have a vcr player
It's completely possible to live without the internet, but with so much stuff nowadays that require use of the internet, trying to live without it would be unrewarding.

Keep in mind that for 99.9999% of humanity's existence there was no internet, and they all lived though it. Of course most of that time also sucked for most people, but they pulled though, and here we are using the result of all that progress. But does that mean anyone would be okay with giving it all up? Hell no.
