medabots game idea

has anyone heard of the video game series (and anime series based on the game) medabots. for those who dont know it involves kids who are able to buy highly dangerios and armed customizable robots relitivly cheaply then use them to fight each other with. i was thinking this would be a perfect idea for a newgrounds based mmorpg i mean it already sounds like something someone would make here. anyway i think it would work but with the battle system swapped from a turn based one to a kinda platformer type but still doing the whole rpg top veiw overworld thing outside of the fights. with a player vs player function and an incedable amount of customization it would rock. so what do you guys think
