M M looks weird without all that make up on
I have not. I share the same taste of music as my parents. Which is awesome music.

Skynet is upon us.
My mom is pretty cool, she keeps an open mind and often finds herself enjoying a lot of the music I play, even the more experimental stuff. And although my dad isn't quite so keen on some of my more modern music (especially anything that could be considered "lo-fi"), there is some crossover in our tastes, bands like Talking Heads and The Velvet Underground.
So I would say that I'm almost always able to find something that everyone will enjoy. Otherwise, I use the speakers in my room or my headphones.
Not at all because everyone has a different taste in music.

Everyone likes Bob Marley and CCR. Everyone.
Once my mom broke several of my CDs because she found one of her religious CDs broken and blamed it on me. The ones she broke were Minor Threat's full discography, Collection II by the Misfits and one more which I can't remember... I didn't even break her CD....
Yeah, when I was like 8. I don't even remember what it was. Nowadays I don't even listen to music at all, though.

My mother used to question me about my music because she is a Superchristian and I listened to a lot of really dark and heavy stuff back in the day. Never really punished me for it or anything, just asked me questions to make me think about it. I know she would have rather had me not listen to it at all, but she was extremely lenient.
I just decided that I need a signature.
No, but if that's happening to you then hide your music or only listen to it when they're not around or something.

I do not like Bob Marley.
I can listen to CCR though.
I listen to shit my parents don't even listen to anymore. So no. Ha
You should probably go fuck yourself.
My dad hasn't criticized or taken away my music or anything like that.
He's relatively open to what I listen to and is fine with listening to what I and my siblings listen to. Though he can't stand listening to stuff like that Legend Of Zelda 25th Anniversary CD that my brother bought.
And he considers stuff like Pearl Jam and Sex Pistols "Jungle Music". But thats what my sister listens to so...yeah......
they never took my music away, but they did subject me to shit like enya, deep forest and enigma
a far greater crime
There's been a couple conflicts concerning profane language but she got over it.

Nope, my dad is the one suggesting music for me, mom does't really care.

My dad actually gave me 2 Black Sabbath tickets for my birthday, hoping he could come along.

They find it odd that I don't like many songs with singing in it.
If so, what exactly was their reasoning for doing so?
Because they listen to things like Muse (good band) and Arctic Monkeys (good band) and other bands that I don't know the names of.

I absolutely fucking detest Bob Marley. The world would be a much better place if all his music and things even remotely related to him would burn to cinders.

Name 4 of his songs without Google.

When are ya going? Cause I saw em last year in like August.
I've rarely felt inclined to share the music i'm into with my parents; mostly because I like the music they like a good deal.
You look nice today.
This guy brutally sodomizes me.
Cereal is pretty cool. If you're cool you'll add me on Steam. Also, Letterboxd.
For a good portion of the music I listen to, it came from my parents. All the new wave, post-punk, and synthpop stuff I listen to I got from being around my parents listening to it.
Although they particularly agree on liking other forms of music I listen to, they aren't explicitly against it. It just isn't their thing, and that's fine.
My father once referred hiphop and DnB as 'black' music. I never listen to them in front of his face again. Ofc, we live in a black neighborhood, what else should I listen to?

Hmm....good point.
I wanna see them again if they're ever in my area. Though they need to get rid of DJ WK if they're coming through here again. That stuff was terrible. He just stood there for like an hour DJing and every so often shooting a t-shirt gun into the crowd.
