its the MTV2 award, as stated in the topic. Its not really a genre of music type award, its like Best video or something where its a bunch of different genres. As I type this, Limp Bizkit just won an award, if you guys care. hehe

Since the Gorillaz aren't real people (or that's the image they're going for... that the cartoon people are the bona-fide band), it makes it really hard for them to present anything or receive anything. The animation would have to be done months before... So it's just a hastle. That's why it's even harder for them to win anything.

My brother listens to them and I read an article on their animation. I'm not too sure about much else about them. I'm not much of a fan myself...

One more thing I'm pissed at MTV about: making "Pop" be a genre instead of just meaning popular music. It's sort of just of how they try to get some kids to think "This isn't pop, pop sucks, Limp Bizkit and Blink 182 are straight underground dogg! Wiggy word up!"
