So when they say beta they mean multiplayer? I always considered Doom to be single-player type of game.

Multiplayer Doom was a big deal for me back in 1993.

Aw come on, Wolfenstien: The New Order doesn't look that bad, I would give it a go, although it can't be better than Doom.

Multiplayer is good for getting used to the game. Like co-op is good for getting a feel for shooting while letting a buddy lead the way. That's kinda how I learned to play. It's totally a predominantly single player game though.

I'm a broke teenager. I would probably buy Wolfenstein if I wasn't.
