Man Claims "There is an Afterlife"

Yeah I know, there's several people that have claimed this and while some of them may have not been lying, some say they could be hallucinating. I personally believe God is real. I mean of course I have my doubts that Heaven exists, but I would like to think that the Sun, Moon, Earth and the entire Universe didn't just magically create itself.

Well in actuality the entire Universe didn't magically create itself. Rather the Big Bang caused it or God created it, there's a scientific method on how it happened.

i would like to believe in an afterlife, though i do not go into specifics such as heaven, hell, purgatory, what have you. i choose to believe in some life after death. it would suck to just simply rot in the ground.

South Park is one of my favorite cartoons and I watch quite a bit of anime, plus I feel that the anime scenes from the Black Friday episodes were the best scenes in the season, so I felt like using an avatar from one of those scenes.

You do realize that Matt Stone is Jewish, and I believe Trey Parker is also religious if i remember correctly. Jewish people believe in God. So I have no idea why you mock me claiming I'm on drugs for believing that there's a creator.

I do believe in an afterlife but there's strong evidence to support that near-death experiences can be dreams. It all depends on whether or not your brain is capable of creating a dream - in the case of the neurosurgeon Eben Alexander, the part of his brain responsible for visual imagery was not functional yet he still continued having experiences. That is something I consider to be stronger evidence.

I'd like to believe that there's an afterlife following death. It might not necessarily be heaven and hell, but it could be something else entirely different. I just hope that there's something waiting for us after death, besides just decomposition.

I'm not trying to mock you dude. I was saying the man in the article was on drugs.

Also, both the creators of the show are non-religious and have stated that they don't believe in anything. They don't claim to be atheist, though - they've made it clear that they don't affiliate themselves with any of the "-isms."
