Yeah, I drew a thing once. Didn't turn out well.
Anyway, that's pretty boss. Maybe add a cyberpunky background? Or (this is Newgrounds) add some nudity. Whatever floats your boat.

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. It's a pony in pony armor, yes? This almost passes for an emaciated robot guy. I think the odd cropping above all else skews the overall clarity, apart from the confusing silhouette. Maybe strike a horse pose with a front foot raised or something. Artistic licensing with your friend's image.

first stop using illustrator and get photoshop. second (after you have photoshop) add depth to your image with shading, right now everything is the same grey tone (which is why people are having harder time figuring out what it is)

As being said here - stop using an illustrator, and get the photoshop or Paint tool Sai. Learn how to shade, and voila - Piece of brilliance. Good luck.
