Hey guys i'm new on newgrounds :) I don't know if you guys want to help me out but...if you do :
I had an idea for a flash game, and i'm currently drawing everything on flash. I have basic code knowledge in actionscript (VERY basic)... I follow some tutorials online.
I can't seem to find tutorials for the game I want to make. I was hoping if anyone can give me a link, or simply explain to me the scripts I need for my game (which I think could be very complicated:
1)Character is behind some barricades, and he will move where you click him to go. So I need a click system in a specific area.
2)Character can shoot by clicking on the waves of enemies approaching, so I need a script for damage/life values
3) Income system, when I kill a monster approaching the barricades, I want to gain 10$
4)A weapon purchase screen, where I can click on weapons I want in my inventory, which will deduct the amount of money it costs to my wallet.
PLEASE help me out...I will be so happy lol

With the low level you appear to be at, I'd suggest just looking around for basic tutorials on how to even use Flash before starting to code. Once you've gotten that down, there's a lot of good AS2 tutorials here and a lot of AS3 tutorials here and here, depending on which version of Flash you own. If you have a version that has AS3, I'd say start with that. You'll make the switch eventually if you don't from the beginning because there's little to no relevant help for AS2 anymore. So I'd recommend AS3 if you have a version after Flash 8.

I would suggest a library such as Flixel for a complete beginner. You seem to have this game mapped out the way you want it. I would suggest looking at a few example games in AS3 to get started, and learn some basic coding.
