Hey, I'm a film student in production of my thesis film. Standards at my college are pretty low but I haven't had the passion sucked out of me yet, I want to make something that breaks the mold of shitty cliche student films.
Music is key! Wondering if I can get any artists on board...
The first thing I need is about a 50 - 80 second instrumental track with a sense of desperation and isolation, mentally gnawing and dark. Relatively minimal, Not synthy... imagining dominant percussion with gradually increasing tempo, but let me know if you have alternate ideas / interpretations. Something in the vein of the Zero Two theme from Kirby 64. It's important that it ends abruptly. The scene is sort of a psychological contest between savagely bitter siblings intensely focused on outdoing each other as a life-or-death matter of pride.
Secondly gonna need a track to follow up that previous one, much simpler just a rising tone that's like when your ears are ringing, with some some low, distant bass strumming that kicks in, sort of segmented throbs
