I watched a few gameplay videos and it looks pretty good so far. The little dash move to help speed the game up seems really helpful.

From what I've seen, it looks really bad. Every preview i've read just makes it sound worse and worse. I've never even played the old games, but this thing just looks horrible.

i hated the e3 presentation.

the new walkthrough has kind of sold me by now. seems that they kept large open-area level design and added more agility to keep the pace up. just wish they would have hired stephen russell to do the voice work for garrett or at least give a him supporting role as that one guard, benny.

if i can get extremely nit-picky since i love the original two games, "friggin" will never replace "taffer" but considering that that word was misued in the last game to the point of it being the city's version of "fuck", then i can kind of understand why they axed it in the new script.
