If they don't want it, they shouldn't have to change. If the overwhelming majority of people in some states don't want gays to marry, and you're a gay who wants to marry, just move. Don't protest and force people to think just like you do because you don't like the way they think. Marriage isn't even a big deal. It's a ring and a document that says you share a last name and pay some taxes together.
