So today I hung out with this girl whom I really liked, and everything was going great. Then all of a sudden she wanted to smoke a cigarette. I said ok fine. Later on I kissed her and not only did it taste horrible, but my throat started to hurt. She kept wanting to smoke cigarettes and probably went outside to do it like 10 times. By the end of the day, my throat started to bloody kill me.
This girl is fucking perfect besides the fact that she's a fucking chain smoker. I don't want to ruin my health, especially the fact that the tennis season starts next week in college. She's expecting a relationship but I don't know what the fuck to do. Of course the natural human instinct to dealing with tricky situations in life is to post a topic about it on NG, so here I am. What should I fucking do, NG?

The presence of chain smoking or any addiction should drop the hint that this bitch has problems. Think it over: "Do I want to get involved with someone who's got all this baggage in their life?"

I think it's the equivalent of a leather jacket and a motorbike for a guy, that kind of bad ass look. for me there is nothing more sexy then a women asking "you got a light?".
I know that in the long run, it's probably not a good thing for your partner to smoke, but there's this certain smell that only smokers have that I quite admire. I don't know, maybe it was because I grew up in a house of smokers (without smoking myself, oddly enough) that I find that quality in people to be kind of nice.
I don't know man, if you're really bothered with her smoking, then tell her about it. Good relationships are not founded on silent hatred, but on honesty and trust. If she's that into you, she'll at least try.

Not to mean any disrespect, but you talk like someone who has little to no experience with how people and relationships work. Not only is that always a lie our infatuated minds fabricate by ignoring common human flaws (nobody is perfect), but who do you suppose he should fight against? Herself? Nothing is forcing her to smoke other than her own addiction, which by the way you write off as something easy to deal with.
He's just getting know her. He has very little idea of what he is getting into. While she could very well be an amazing person, he obviously has a big problem with her smoking habits, so his only options are either putting up with it every single day or forcing her to quit. Do any of those options sound like a reasonable, healthy approach to a starting relationship? I don't think so. He's going to resent her if she doesn't quit, and she's going to resent him for trying to change her habits.
I've kissed smokers before, and I hate the taste too. I might get a bitter displeasure from her mouth, but never terrible irritation.

One, I hate the smell of smoke, and two, I couldn't deal with the taste, because I kiss my partner all the time. Plus I can't be smelling like smoke at work or school, so ya.
