Ehhh... N.... I.... No.
I don't think so.
It's up there for sure, but you're one of billions and billions of humans, let alone other lifeforms, ever to have lived, let alone yet to live.
I don't think either of us in a position to say "x is the worst thing ever" with any kind of universal authority.
I've had two heart attacks, and the combined pain of both of those put together don't even touch the feeling of wanting to die, but not having the guts to take your own life.
Until you've been through years of chronic depression where at any time you can end up depressed non-stop for several months at a time, you don't have any right to talk about emotional pain.
And until you realize that qualifying the merit of someone's suffering (subjectively) in relation to your own is not universally valid, you might as well continue believing (self-righteously, it seems), that your suffering is some form of social capital which serves as credentials for your input in conversations such as this.
Weak willed people with no self-preservation are the ones that kill themselves. People like me are the ones who silently suffer for years, unable to end their pain.
Sounds like you've had a rough time of it, but I would withhold your judgements about others, for there are things in this world far more terrible than your little nightmare.
And I'm glad to hear you're happier than you've been in years, that really helps one's outlook on things.

You go to a country where assisted suicide is legal and just off yourself there.

what possible use would she have been if she stayed around
It's their money and their decision. If you don't like it, get rich enough to were you can afford it all on your own. Oh you're not? Then you don't "deserve" the treatment. Expensive healthcare is not a right. There are millions of healthy, able-bodied and minded youths dying in Africa from easily treatable issues but people in America want our old and worthless to stick around even though they can't afford it. Absolutely pathetic and anti-utility.

The thing with duels is that if you win, a lot of people are gonna hate ya.
There isn't. Goes against the doctors Code of Ethics.

In the Viking age, if you beat someone in a duel, you got to keep all their stuff... I wouldn't care about what people thought if those rules still applied
Can't handle doing it yourself, so you're gonna put that on someone else?

Actually it would be my money that I would have been paying into for over 20 years.

Healthcare is not a right at all unless it says so on a piece of paper, maybe the able-bodied and minded youths should stop slaughtering each other and focus on bettering their standard of living.

No, find a hitman and then punch and bully him until he kills you for free and you save money... money you don't need... unless you gave it to your family... a family who would want you alive... a family of which would be there so you wouldn't want to die.
Yeah... just pay him.

Hmm....does this include their family?
Because that'd sure as hell be interesting.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I say it generates more duel contestants.

Regular suicide is the insanity. People who can overcome their will to survive/ don't have a will to survive in the first place are the people you need to watch out for.
Why is it that? is it because they know that they do not have anything to lose?

I don't know about family, but if I recall correctly, It did extend to spouses

which if victorious, means more property for you... You can become rich just by being really, really good at killing.

It's really not, unless you mean being literally physically unable, then maybe.

Could just make yourself a Brompton Cocktail. You'll feel great and slowly slip into death.
It's called Euthanasia,
And yeah I'm sure you could pay someone to do it for you, but it is practiced be some doctors, basically they relieve their patients of a painful death.

If I remember correctly, there is a place you can have someone assist in your suicide if you have a terminal illness and have over a 80% chance of dieing. I think Switzerland and Canada have this program, but I don't know if you can go the legal route if you don't have a terminal illness.
