3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsMost games come with a story. Some are great! Some suck. Usually there are a couple moments that will leave you speechless in some. Then there are other epic moments that are hard to describe and are strange but are still cool. (*cough* Castle Crashers ending. *cough cough*.)
What are some epic moments in a games story that you loved or remember? It can also be DLC stories too. They can also be sad.
Let see here which Mass Effect moment shall I pick?
. Shepard barking down the Quarian admiral board in ME2.
. Grunt surviving hordes upon hordes of reaper modified Ranchnids-
. Making a Krogan back down but head-butting him-
. Killing a Thresermaw (probably spelled it wrong) on foot.
. Joker firing the killing blow on Sovereign.
. Making Sarren realize his fault and thus committing suicide in defiance to the Reapers.
. Making the Illusive Man realize his fault and thus committing suicide in defiance to the Reapers.
. Facing a Reaper on the ground and WIN... TWICE!
. Saving the galaxy. Three times! Or more maybe.
. Curing the genophage.
. Ending the Quarian Geth conflict without wiping out either species.
. Conduct the shortest interrogation in history.
. Blowing up the Collector home base.
. Successfully avoid killing a single brainwashed colonist on Feros.
. Taking out a Geth Champion on foot, you know those things in ME1 that you only could kill in the tank.
. (a epic fail example) Be to dumb to live and have sex with Morinth.
. Have sex with everyone! (well as many as possible)
. Have Conrad risk his life to save you, and have him survive (because some side quest in ME1).
. "This is for Thane/Miranda, you son of bitch" aka renegade kill Kai Lang.
. EDI taking on a personal vendetta directed towards Shepard's evil clone.
. Evil Shep crossing the line how? Messing with Shepards (space) hamster. "Now it's personal".
. Miranda crumb stomp the shit out of an Eclipse leader.
. Not losing a single team member in the suicide mission.
. Keith David... What?
There's more of course but now I have to play Mass Effect.

That salute in MGS3. You know the one.
Weeping like a child. Real tears. Trying to find Kojima's phone number, giving up and just picking a Japanese number at random, and crying down the phone asking a confused foreign woman if Big Boss is going to be okay.
**SPOILERS**
Resident Evil - Seeing the first zombie.
GTA V - Trevor and Michael meet again after all those years.
Fallout 3 - Being the first Fallout game for many first stepping into the Wasteland was amazing.
Fallout 3 - Watching your Dad die.
Fallout: New Vegas - Launching the Ghouls into Space.
Half-Life - Core falling apart.
Video games aren't usually a good medium for telling a story. Buuuut, on the rare occasion that they do deliver, it's like a rain shower after a drought, or a break in the clouds during an overcast day. It's great, but in the big picture, you know it's a moment that needs to be savored, as it probably won't happen for another while.
So that's why I can't pick a moment.
