Mcdonalds gets too much hate

I mean I had a mcdouble the other day and it wasn't perfect but it was pretty good and warm for 2 bucks, better than other fast food places like Wendy's and depending on my mood Burger King.

Do you think Mcdonalds gets too much hate? It's unhealthy but most fast food places are guilty of that, and mcdonalds I don't think is the "most" unhealthiest.

Big Macs are really good. I eat McDonald's all the time and I've actually been losing weight. But that's from all the exercise I do. Fast food is perfectly OK if you're active enough. And have you seen the burgers at Wendy's? Now there's some really fattening shit right there. So yes, McDonald's does get more hate than it deserves.

I've said this before but I don't like Wendy's burgers anymore

Their sweet pickles are bad(imo) and this might have always been there and my taste buds have changed, but the meat seems more bland then mcdonald's ever since they revamped their menu

Their new fries, however, are an equal tradeoff to their old ones.

eh, I liked it when I was in High School... cheap, pretty good, always one nearby. when I got a bit older I stopped eating fast food all together as I found places like Firehouse Subs and Chipotle a bit better. It's a bit more expensive but you have more money when you get older so you don't really mind. I'd rather pay $7 for a big ass delicious sub then $2 for a sub par burger that's been sitting under a light for an hour.

Now, when I do eat fast food, I can't stand McDonalds. I prefer KFC or Wendy's over McDonalds any day. McDonalds just feels worse in my gut. It feels all fatty and bloated... as if my heart is trying to kick my ass from the inside for digesting whatever-the-hell those burgers are made out of. Taco Bell isn't much better, health wise (as far as gut feeling goes) but it's cheap and far more delicious so I opt for that. McDonalds is a last resort for me.

I haven't had Wendy's in quite a while, but I definitely remember thinking the burgers were better than the ones at McDonald's. Burger King and McDonald's are both fine for what they are and what their food costs. I had two double cheeseburgers and some fries from McDonald's the other day. Of course, anyone could easily make better burgers on their own, though.

I don't really care for KFC very much because I find their general menu besides their crispy chicken, fries, and some boneless chicken and chicken sandwiches bad, I also sometimes get sick from it and literally throw up because the chicken is so greasy, I feel KFC is just way unhealthier than Mcdonalds, same case with some Taco Bell stuff, I like Taco Bell even though I easily get sick of it.

Hardees/Carl's Jr. has a way better menu than most fast food places anyway.

Yeah, McD's is a fine place to eat, cheap, good food. I was with my Grandma a week ago and went to McD's for a little lunch, she asks me what I want, I order a Spicy McChicken, a Parfait and a large drink (my usual get) She says she doesn't want anything, waits to hear the total: $3.25. She turns around with the most shocked face like "Wuh?" and I'm like, "Dollar Menu". She's fairly old so I suppose she assumed a chicken sandwich, drink and yogurt snack was going to cost at least twice if not 3 times that. And if it was a real restaurant she'd be right. Haha, good times.

But everything garners unwarranted hate if its popular enough, and I do mean everything. It's all part of our absurd counter-culture, everything's too mainstream for everybody and everybody's gonna find a reason to hate on something especially if its a fixture of American culture. I suppose its a necessary evil though, if the counter-culture didn't exist we wouldn't have any checks in place to make sure places like McDonald's don't take advantage of its costumers and we wouldn't have calorie numbers next to items or salads or Diet Coke. As long as there's a group to challenge a known power that power will be forced to keep itself under control, its all about checks and balances.

What fast food would you consider worse? Just curious. The only thing that comes to mind for me would be Dunkin Donuts chicken,sandwiches. Holy shit, never again. That was just painful.

It's a bunch of corporate shit. I don't eat there, since there meat is rubbish. If there is a local burger place or eatery, go there for a meal. It usually costs around the same
Though there burgers are dirt cheap, so if you go there, don't act like you don't know what you're paying for; junk food
