I'm on Mac OSX Mavericks 10.9.1 and I'm using Google Chrome because Safari sucks with some flash websites and I don't really like Safari because of bugs I've noticed in Apple's own browser.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I run into that bug when I vote on a flash/game I've watched/played every once in a while.

I probably run into that every week, Don't think it's Flash, but rather a security measure for the site to prevent multiple votes or something.
