I'm not fond of the phrase "I'm bored."
There's so much in this fucking world to do, especially with the internet and all of it's capabilities. You should never be bored. Ever.

What? It makes perfectly good sense.
You look nice today.
This guy brutally sodomizes me.
Cereal is pretty cool. If you're cool you'll add me on Steam. Also, Letterboxd.
"I could care less."
"Should of."
Go back to school if you use those.
Never look a gift horse in the mouth means if you get a gift don't be a critical ass about it and accept it with good manners. If somebody gives you a horse and you examine its mouth you're effectively looking for flaws or judging the quality of their gift kind of being shitty about it instead of just saying thanks.
I never liked between a rock and a hard place. The hard place part just seems lazy.

That is American. The actual phrase is "I couldn't care less" as per an English phrase, but the Americans for some reason changed it to "could" when saying you "could care less" literally means you do care for the topic in question as you clearly have some care about it if you are able to care less about it than you currently do.

This. "Didn't do nothing" is another one that I hear a lot. People sound so stupid when they use double negatives like that.
"It's over 9000!!!"
"U mad, bro?"
"Arrow to the knee."
All annoying as shit. Then again, all memes are annoying.
Just chillin' like always.

I've played Skyrim a total of well over 1000 hours, and I've only heard a guard say that phrase 2 or 3 times in all.

No, it's stupid. I always say "couldn't care less".

No, no, no. I am American. Please don't say that. It is still only correct if it's "I couldn't care less" People are dumb as hell and don't even understand what they are saying means so instead they say "I could care less". They make all kinds of dumb grammatical errors and it pisses me off. The day they are right I might as well an hero.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances

Maybe they really, really, really don't care, but it's not the absolute least amount they could care, so they could care less, just not by that much more

To look a gift horse in the mouth means to critique a gift. The saying comes from back in the day when things like horses were used as wedding gifts or a dowry (kind of like a wedding exchange...)
To look a horse in the mouth means to get an estimate on the age of the horse by looking at the wear on the teeth which can be an insult to the gift giver.
Quite simply, it isn't that there are stupid proverbs (Don't use the word retarded as it generally means to slow and makes you look like a lout.) but there is ignorance as to what things mean.
Excuse me for parentheses and lysdexia.

Why would you tell someone you care a bit? It's meant to tell someone you're bored and don't wanna hear about it. Like really grandma? I couldn't care less about your damn hip surgery! *eye roll*

Why do people say 'don't like' about something that is clearly hated? It's like "Hey, the internet doesn't like Justin Beiber." Well that's retarded, they clearly hate him (for some reason) and you're just using the watered down meaningless phrase because anything else is too difficult for you to hear!
When somebody 'doesn't like' something, it only means this.
At 2/4/14 08:40 PM, Sense-Offender wrote: No, it's stupid. I always say "couldn't care less".
Taking into account that both are used in the same context, "could care less" doesn't make any sense...

Ugh, yes, this is the one I was going to post. Just like with the way people use "literally," they mean the exact opposite of what they're saying!
