It's time to update this with things i've done these last weeks. I've been very depressed and thinking about quitting drawing, even suicide, but i won't give up yet. I haven't drawn in a long time, nearly two weeks, i gotta step it up already.
I drew this from a reference the other day and i think it's pretty good, so imma upload it here. This is the ref.
I tryed capturing the feeling of it, rather than copying it exactly as it is, i think that's a logical next step, i unno, i tryed to do that with a couple of gesture drawings too, i might upload 'em.
Some faces from imagination that didn't turn out THAT bad, a girl from ref but shading from imagination (hardcore, i know), and a weird experiment i did trying to draw directly in values, with a hard cube brush, i don't know what to think of it, honestly.
Also i realized that the images i've been uploading have been getting darker so i guess this will too.

Thanks man, your comment makes me want to try harder :)
Also i just realized how dark this last image was so i reuploaded it here. Just if anyone is interested in seeing what i tried to do with that dark face

Love the expression of the young girl.
Here's some studies i did in the past 3 days, if newgrounds keeps darkening the images i upload the value study will look pretty bad
And Newgrounds did it again, here you can see the image properly: http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/cea32d673fc3fb39f64ec03cafe0d3e9
So.. i guess i'm making progress or something, i did this from imagination today, i should seriously draw more from imagination because if you ask me, i don't even know what my level of skill is right now, i think i'm gonna go further and try to render this, with color and everything like a real pokemon trainer.
Also i discovered this magic button that makes the tablet pressure control the opacity of the brush, and now i can actually shade without feeling like i'm wrestling with the program, this is a small step for the artist i want to be, but a big step for the artist i am right now, i-i guess...
