It's over. Seattle wins 43-8.
Really, for something as high-level football as the Super Bowl, it's sure as hell one sided. I labelled the Broncos as a lost cause after half time.

Didn't everyone favor the Broncos?

Congrats, Seahawks. I've had a feeling for a while now that they were going to go to the Super Bowl and win it. I just hate that Russell Wilson is going to get most of the praise when he didn't even do that much. Their defense is what won that game, not their quarterback.

Doubt it, he's a typical compton dick and is rude to everyone. They both are.http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/super-bowl-2014-richard-sherman-has-a-lot-to-show-us--about-ourselves/2014/01/29/babd2520-893d-11e3-a5bd-844629433ba3_story.html
I don't know man, sounds like you just hate him for no reason to me.
Oh that's the biggest crock of shit article I've ever read, the man is riding this publicity because he sees dollar signs in it and if he plays the misunderstood good guy then maybe he'll get those Nike commercials. Also, post a better news source than the huffington post.

Oh they will have a dynasty, the kind of one nobody wants in 1990s.

Kind of awkward for Russell, it looks like he thought he's the MVP until Strahan sacked him with announcement that it was Malcolm Smith.

I don't know about that, defense-heavy teams are usually one-hit wonders like the '85 bears and the 2000 Ravens. Despite scoring 43 points, Seattle's offense is still rather average, and their WR corps are mostly awful, though I would probably imagine that we would say that about Tom Brady in 2002. Not saying that Wilson is or ever will be like Brady, but the parallels are there.
Hopefully, they won't gut their roster like Baltimore did, but even if they don't, the target is now going to be on their back and the last 2 World champs have missed the playoffs the next year. Not to mention teams like the 49ers, Panthers and others are going to have something to say about that, and offenses are going to find a way to counter Seattle's defense.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Exactly, plus Sherman didn't go and trip people whenever he gets beat. Flozell on the other hand gets away with crap and when the league does something about it, all they gave him was a simple fine.
It sometimes makes me wonder if the Cowboys are cash cow for the league, hence the special treatment. Good thing it's not enough to help them win the big one since 1996.

Couldn't agree more and frankly, most people realize this. The Seahawks' defense was just impeccable.

Sherman's interview is a bit disappointing, he's a bit toned down compared to weeks before.

What if Peyton Manning has to keep repeating this Groundhogs Day over and over again until he finds a way to win the Super Bowl?

Ah
That's close to my heart (BF4 PC player)
As stated before, Seahawks D was thirsty for a win tonight and deserve the majority of the praise.
Yes, Wilson did a good job.
Yes, the Defense is what won this game.
Big ups to the big guys on the D-line for bringing that constant pressure on Peyton.
Meanwhile, for all those that bet Seattle:
Skynet is upon us.
