It happens every year. It kills people ever single year and causes untold amounts of money in collateral damage. And the worst part? America's government doesn't have the courage to do anything about it!
What is it? Canada's pumping massive amounts of arctic air into America! Ever years this egregious act continues and every year it causes hundreds if not thousands of deaths from frostbite, accidents, and other causes.
How do they do it? It's a closely guarded state secret and most people don't even realize it's happening. Some people think this is a natural occurrence.
It's no secret that Great Britain has always wanted to reannex the American colonies, especially since they have grown to take over an entire continent and has completely eclipsed Britain, making them a largely irrelevant nation that even had to enter into a economic union to even try to compete.
Part of the plan to reannex America is to get Britain's vassal state, Canada to blast America with arctic air, in order to weaken the state. When the weather gets too treacherous in America, many businesses have to shut down temporarily and this hurts the economy. Canada is currently researching ways to pipe air directly from the arctic circle into America so they can blast the American nation with cold air year round in order to stunt crop growth, cause mass famine, and destroy the American economy to pave the way for Her Majesty's military to come in and take back what they believe is rightfully theirs.
This must be stopped, America needs to act NOW because Canada's nefarious plan succeeds! Tell your congressman to act today!
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

.....Meanwhile here in California there is talk that the recent drought may be the start of a mega drought leaving the Union's most populous state in trouble as well as one of the worlds largest producers of food. Must be Mexico blasting the US with heat.

What about Alaska, then? It's much more colder there than in Canada.
Besides, Americans have been used to Canada's feeble attempts to pump arctic air into our homeland, and yet nothing comes of it. -30 degree wind chills and a foot of snow are nothing to those who are used to winter's wrath, just go ask the folks in Minnesota or Buffalo about it.
The rampant use of "aboot", "eh?" and "hoser" on the other hand is a more important concern to both America and the English language.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I never really understood why the U.S. hasn't just annexed Canada.

I am sick to death of people saying "'Murica." It reduces the idea of patriotism to blind jingoism. 99% of people who say it, say it ironically, thinking that those who are genuinely patriotic think the same way - "Murica!"

Do realize that a noticeable portion of American patriotism IS of the blind jingoism sort. I'd peg it around 10-20%. Not huge, but too much to make the characterization a poor one. One act of such blind patriotism has the same negative weight as 10 or so cases of regular honest patriotism carries in positive weight.
It is the Toby Keith style of jingoistic patriotism that makes real honest patriotism look bad, not the ironic characterization of that bad patriotism.

I for one am not the least bit sorry about our fresh clean northern air making your country cooler ...what I am sorry for is we can't charge you for it !
I've been to many of your over populated mega cities, like New York, Chicago ,Huston & Dallas, & Laaa (you call it L A ) the air quality ...well it really stinks ...an eye watering , nose numbing shortness of breath feeling that chokes a person leaving them gasping on hot days , with just a little activity.
Yep I really wish we could charge you for our clean fresh air .
But as my brother just pointed out we sell you millions of gallons of oil , a lot of it heats your homes, produces electricity to ...heat your homes , so i guess we're getting a few bucks for it after all ~:D
But there is one American , just 1 who has the best & IMO brightest American idea on how to solve the problem ....you should support him , maybe make him your next President, cause ya, Know ...IMO he can't be any worse than what you've had in that position in the past !On top of a solution to Arctic air masses, he has a real good idea on putting Americans to work & helping out have not States.
Let me put forward a much better candidate than you'll see later this year trying for your next Presidential election .

I haven't met too many patriotic people who didn't think America is #1 at everything and super-duper-awesome. In my personal experience, the joke I made about "'murrica" earlier is almost too true when it comes to satire.
Not that patriotic sentiment is immoral to express or experience, but my observations of the patriotic expressions people make have, more often than not, left a bad taste in my mouth.

You Scottish? I've always wondered where the "aboot" came from. Of the Canadian accents I have heard (and that would be a ton of them) not a single one has said "aboot". Rather, they have most often said "aboat" (rhymes with boat). Maybe that's just western and central Canada though.

Usually yes, but because of the polar vortex being over the great lakes, they've been warmer than most the lower 48. Last weekend it was 40 in Fairbanks in the dead of winter.

In other news, America may be sending Justin Bieber back to Canada for them to deal with.
Canada had this to say, "Wait, don't do that! He can't survive here! Once he eats through his money, he'll be another poor hasbeen with a big ego that will stay in and out of prison. America made him this way! He should remain there!"

Wait, Canada has prisons? I would've guessed that they would be made of cardboard and they would only serve maple syrup and Mac and cheese with ketchup for dinner.
But in all seriousness, Bieber shouldn't be deported to Canada, that's too light of a punishment. Instead, he should catch a one way flight with Dennis Rodman back to Pyongyang so that they can hang out with each other all the time. After all, Kim Jung Un is a fan of Rodman, (not sure about Bieber) and we have grown weary of his trollish antics ever since he was in the NBA. Bieber is almost like Piers Morgan, most Americans hate him, and their old country don't want them back either.

Six days, and no amount of evidence has been posted by OP to support his claims, not even from shitty unreliable websites, much less a website that could be trusted by a rationally minded person.

I'm fairly certain that was meant to be a joke thread, it's kind of hard not to notice where temperatures are way below normal, are in the negative single digits as highs and be around -30 degrees for wind chills, and that's not even the coldest overall day in either category, at least where I live.

Don't get me wrong, I know it's bullshit, but I was hoping (even if this were a joke thread) OP would put some amount of effort forth to back up the shit he's saying.
