If Peyton keeps being Peyton then Seattle is DOA. Maybe Eli will channel some of that SB savant energy to his big bro.

He has a habit of talking tough, and so far that seems to work, particularly when he yelled at the reporter talking about Crabtree. Something tells me that he's going to keep this up during the next 2 weeks, but I have a feeling that he shut the hell up when Peyton Manning makes him his bitch comes the big game. Let's face it, Sherman's no Muhammad Ali.
Speaking of the big game, now we have to wait 2 weeks until the Super Bowl, where this game is going to be dissected and talked about to the point where it gets annoying. Let the ultimate hype machine of prognostication begin.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Well, to be fair, the Seahawks did get hosed by the refs in their last SB appearance. All in all though, I highly doubt that the refs will give them the same home cooking in New York (technically New Jersey, assuming that Christie doesn't close that bridge but who cares?) like they did today. I dare say that they'll be a little more inclined that they will lean towards Manning who's playing at a God-mode level, versus a team that has the NFL's QB equalivent of Edward Elric.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I agree that Seattle is in for a rude awakening when it comes to Peyton Manning. Let's face it, it was Kaepernick's poor decision making that did SF in this game and most of that can be attributed to inexperience and maybe a little bit of arrogance (or a lot of arrogance). If there's one thing Peyton Manning doesn't do is make bad decisions, at least not in this post season he isn't. Not to mention that the 'Legion of Boom' takes advantage of teams that try to go for the greedy big plays with their talented ballhawk safeties but Manning offenses have always thrived on 10-15 yard intermediate throws that could go to any one of 3 or 4 receivers. Seattle is out of their depth and the only question mark for Denver is if the running game is ready to step up to the plate. They probably won't run well early but can they break the camel's back so to speak?
I think they will

Either way I'm calling this, the Niners blew it. Seattle wins and the Broncos are going to win the superbowl.
Seattle has the number one defense, it will be tough for the Broncos if Peyton isn't careful enough to overcome his status as a passing yards title winner which hadn't won the whole thing since 1959. The Seahawks and the 49ers each happen to have the defense that can handle Peyton.
It will be tough.
With that said, I want the Broncos to win but my pick would be the Seahawks.

Guy's name is Richard Sherman and I think what he did was brilliant. We need more insanity like that. Too many interviews are canned and boring these days.

Funny, though.
When I saw the interview, I saw a player who was still hype about a huge play he made that won his team the game. There was some trash talking, but it was mild with no cursing. This is Football, ladies and gentlemen; there will be talk (especially if backed up).
However, there were a few people (Wriggle's family members, perhaps?) that claim to have seen a raging gorilla screaming at a poor white lady. I don't think we were watching the same thing.
Anywho.
Kaepernick + Refs = San Fran not going.
Yes, Kap played hard (and ran hard). Yes, he made some ill-advised throws.
I'm just going to be quiet about the refs.
Not going to say anything.
Skynet is upon us.

Just watched the NFC game- delighted with that result! The 49ers looked by far the better team for most of the game, and I really wouldn't fancy facing such a mobile QB.
Meanwhile the Seahawks are dominant at home, but will not be the same in New Jersey. My early breakdown ahead of the super bowl:
The Broncos pass attack and the Seahawks secondary are each teams great strength. They may cancel out, though I would definitely favour Denver at this point.
The Broncos rush defence and the Seahawks rushing game should also cancel out. Denver has done a great job of stopping rushing so far this postseason.
The Broncos secondary was poor most of the season, but there is nothing in this Seahawks pass attack to worry them. I honestly don't see how Seattle will score many points at all if Denver plays defence anything like they have so far this postseason.
A pretty close matchup, but if Peyton finds a way through the Seattle secondary there is only one winner. Avoid interceptions and Denver should be strong favourites.
Can't wait!

My analysis is that both teams are evenly matched in just about every position except for QB, and I think that's going to be difference. Also, the refs in the NFC championship game, there were a lot of ticky-tac and missed calls in that game, and we're just hoping that they don't become a factor.
I'll make my official pick later next week, but as of now I'm leaning towards Denver winning it all. For what it's worth, the Broncos seem to be the team of destiny, and I just can't imagine Peyton getting denied again, all things being equal.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

From what I've been reading, the polar vortex may be hanging around the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic states during the Super Bowl. Who thought holding it in Jersey during the winter was a good idea?
Of course, if it were in California, that would be its own set of problems.
