In high school, there was this kid in my classes who I was starting to make friends with who was escorted out of the school one day. Apparently, he started wigging out and went on some nutty rant about Columbine and how the kids deserved it or something. I wasn't in that class so, I didn't witness it, but we all found out later in the paper that cops found a shotgun in his room and he was going to jail. Then, I vaguely recalled a chat we had on MSN and he said something along the lines how things are gonna change at the school and something like "you wait and see" or "you'll see" or something ominous like that. I foolishly thought nothing of the comments at the time.

TL;DR - A kid I was gonna start hanging out with was apparently planning on shooting up our school.

I was still in middle school at the time, but my brother stayed home. I suppose I could have phrased that better.
