Or a worm? Spiders? If so, what kind? I'd eat mealworms, I heard they don't taste that bad.

Somewhat related, my mom used to work at a fruit rollup factory and she said they used to have to scrape a layer of insect legs and cockroach droppings off the sheets of candy.

Give me a worm and I'll call it a day. Better than eating something that has legs.

Yeah no tons of insect bits get into our food as it is.

That being said, if somebody just like gave me a roach and told me to eat it, i'd be all like, "no."

Only if they're the size of Ash hoppers and you can cook the leg meat and don't have to eat all the other stuff

If it's properly prepared for human consumption, then I'll give it a try...

I've eaten a fried worm, and im sure I've eaten various mosquito as my blood is delicious, the fried worm wasn't bad..

I found an interesting article on various bugs that are eaten, and what they taste like. I didn't know anyone ate giant water bugs, the fuck.

I would only eat an insect or worm if my alternative was starvation.

Yeah I've eaten mealworm cookies and candy ants, they were fine.

Glad I don't eat fruit rollups anymore.

Many people have eaten bugs regardless of whether they intended to or not.

They often get swept up during grain harvesting and their scattered parts are cooked into baked goods.

I visited Cambodia like years ago and during a break from road trip, a merchant offered me some spicy fried spiders. At first I grossed the heck out of it. Then I reluctantly tasted one. Guess what? It tasted great! (However I had 2 days through the diarrhea so I don't recommend!)

Other insects I had consumed in the past are silk worm, scorpion and cricket.

Insects have 4 times more protein than raw beef. Pound for pound that is.

Yeah. It felt like I was eating those little potato sticks but tasted like butter and garlic.

I'm more interested in what causes the disgusted attitude towards insect consumption in first world countries than I am in what they actually taste like. Sure, we don't grow up eating the things, but what makes them creep [some of] us out so much? I blame television

I've eaten ants, and fried up some grasshoppers once.

They were bland, but it was probably just how I cooked them.

I'd still eat fruit roll-ups. I'd have to see it physically happen in front of me to not eat one if I had one. They're so damn delicious and i've already eaten hundreds of them in my lifetime.
