i love your style, but even in simple things like this you should more movement when he does something. it could be subtle like a head tilt, it really adds tension or excitement, not to mention it brings your animation to life. Remeber that animation is a slight (or big) exaggeration of real life.

As people have already said, you have a nice appealing drawing style so you obviously have some artistic talent, it would be nice to see that combined with some more technically complex animation. If you're new to animation then this is an excellent resource to learn techniques.
