You guys should all be watching AGDQ2014 right now. If you aren't then do!

It's a speed run marathon that started on the 5th and that will be on all day and all night until January 11th.

I'll most likely watch all the Super Mario games runs and the Zelda: A Link to the Past run, tonight. It's too bad I'll miss the Super Star Wars run tomorrow, though. Hopefully I'll catch the Donkey Country runs tomorrow after school and maybe Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night and Mario Kart 64 before going to sleep.

As for the other runs, I'll see how much time behind schedule they'll be in a few days to decide if I'll watch them or not.

It might have been on this that they did the super mario world executes arbitrary code which came onto the TAS website recently.

Sadly as much as I love the pokemon yellow one, this was just incredibly dull as it was basically a copy paste of the previous TAS of super mario world but with a little changed to do the code rather than skip to the end.

Overall I WOULD enjoy these speedruns if they didn't keep ruining them by constantly having people coming on and going "and now these people donated money and they wanted to say this when they donated" I am here to listen to games not to hear people whining about problems. Sure donating money is good, but don't interrupt the bloody gameplay and explanations of the speedrun for it.

They share some TAS stuff on their website, but during marathons they have very very little TAS stuff, which is totally fine by me because I prefer legit runs a lot.

It's an issue only when the announcer interupts the game a lot. But right now, it's the SMB3 co-op run and it's pretty good, plus the announcer doesn't interupt the game in anyway. He does read a few ones here and there, but it's not annoying by any means.

I have this running in the background occasionally while doing illustrations. The donation announcer doesn't bother me at all.
