Former Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys football player Terrell "T.O." Owens was featured in a Hardee's/Carl's Jr. commercial about the new Philly Cheesesteak Burger.
In the commercial, Owens is shown being despised by residents of Philadelphia. Despite that, at the end of the clip, he says, "I get all the love, and hold the hate" while devouring the burger around beautiful women.
Do you think the burger looks good? Do you think that Terrell Owens was perfect for the role in this commercial?

Looking at the recent commercials for Hardees and Carl's Junior, it makes you wonder...
Perhaps the Hardees name is more fitting, since it sounds more like slang for a boner...
Feel no mercy for me. It will only cause you to suffer as well.

I think it's ironic how they get a fit and muscular guy to advertise fast food.

I agree, but wouldn't it make more sense to hire a famous former football star rather than some random nobody? They like to use athletes in their commercials and athletes are generally muscular and fit.

If that random nobody is good looking, why not? But yeah, that trick works to use famous people to attract peoples attention. It'll always be that way. I just like the irony behind it all.

Perhaps this is meant to be a peace offering towards Eagles fans, though I doubt that will really work. In T.O.'s defense, he did get jobbed out by Reid and McNabb and they didn't go to back to the Super Bowl without him, but I don't think that he would be welcome back in Philadelphia anytime soon.
Considering the back child support he was owed, he might as well take that ad and run with it, considering that he's never going to be back to anything football related until he gets elected into the Hall of Fame. Also, he been known as the ultimate workout warrior, I'm sure that he can burn off any hamburger he eats.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Nice picture you got of him. Now that he's a washed up NFL star eating burgers all the time that 6-pack will be gone real fast. And his career will become quite notable, if only as the last black NFL player to not be covered in tattoos. Yep, he was one unique man.

After blowing the money he had, resulting in a financial problem he's in right now, T.O. will need all the money he can get and I'm surprised he got an endorsement deal just now.
Good for him I guess, he's still a dick though.

But sensei
Papa Johns taste so good.
When will T.O. and Vick be relevant in Football again?
They need one good year so they can retire on a good note.

I find that to be pretty funny since everybody here is either a Steelers or a Ravens fan. We constantly make fun of the Eagles. I actually listen to Eagles fans make the best jokes on the Eagles (half because no one else even sees the Eagles as worth anything, lol).

Not a bad ad. Not that it's going to tempt me to eat any new burgers though.
