What is a computer?

You may have never asked yourself this question before but I will ask you know, And I want to know in your own words, rambles, and even nonsense, What Is a Computer?.

NG, Are you going to be negative about the existance?, Postive?, Will you completely ignore the topic and compare an Xbox One to a Playstation 4?, Oh boy you, For the sake of the longevity of the thread, No consoles aloud.

I hope we have all grown up with a computer, A legitamate piece of engineering, Some of you might have had the chance to experience the growth and beginnings of the computer.

The computer has always had a lot of "Nerd" Negativity in the old times, However today the term is technically abolished among a simple acquisition of even non-computer related basic skills, Did you ever grow through the old times?, Did you ever notice the transition?

The computer has existed for us almost throughout our entire lives, constantly changing just as everything else, What do you think would be the biggest change to come?

In the most basest of terms a computer is something that can perform calculations.

- The earliest traces of computing dates back to ancient babylonia - They used the abacus. Note that that abacus is neither electrical nor mechanical.

- The first known analog computational device is the antikythera mechanism. It was used to calculate the stars positioning.

- In the 1970's People were computers. They were computers in the sense that that was their occupation.
