Thank you. Is it common to see similar responses in the fora? "nooks and crannies" hmmm does this site have a group system or another way to be a of a smaller community in this site? Heh yeah Facebook... The most uninteresting social site in my opinion. I only find it useful for communicating with class mates.

I mean there is the featureless chat section, and a few other forums for more specific things i.e. clubs and crews where you can talk to people with common interests, Video games section, Artists and creators section etc..

I must say that NG is a pretty cool site and more aesthetically appealing than deviantART. I just hope that I will see a more welcoming and friendly part of the community in the future. It apparently does not take much to annoy people.

Yeah, Tom goes on here often and talks to users sometimes. Unlike on some sites where the people who run it don't even listen to what some of the users have to say. Aside from @Asandir, @Cyberdevil, and maybe @VicariousE Tom is one of the nicest people on the entire site. I don't think I've ever seen him get full on pissed off at someone on here before.

You're kidding, right? First time I talked to Tom, I was as rude as hell! SCTE3 can take my place. Tom's the kinda guy who would only get pissed off, if one of his friends or family needed a damn good talking to... he could probably the count those times on one hand.

Nah. I think you're nice at times. You're a hell of a lot nicer than a ton of other people on this site thats for sure.

We have a friends system but it is still in the early stages of usefulness - you can use it to compete on scores and medals, or see what shared creations your friends have made in certain games. Have been talking about a groups system for years, with private group forums as well, but have never actually gotten it implemented. For now it's basically the different forum crowds and the blog activity such as the artist news on the front page.
Really should revisit that groups system at some point...

A group system could be a good feature. I think it would be easier find people with similar interests if such system were implemented. A lot of different social sites make good use of it, so I think it would be very much appreciated if the NG team added it to the site.
