Sun Burn

Sun Burn is a pain in the ass.

Being white sucks.

I didn't even notice it until I was inside for a few hours. Then it turned red and it feels like my skin is falling off.

It hurts. Well, only if my clothes or something brushes against it.

Not that bad this time, just the back of my neck and arms, but one summer it was really bad. I was practically dead, I didn't do anything for a week because I was burned so bad.

Did anyone else get sunburned yet? It's sunburn season. And it blows.

Nope, I just turned brown :) I like the browness, but I don't want a damn burn. Had a huge one last year, it almost makes you go crazy..

lol yeah, sunburn sucks, Luckily im a healthy light brown color the sun doesnt burn me as often, I just came from mexico and i got darker but I didnt get burned

Yeah I got sunburned the other day. Last summer i got sunburned so bad i had to go to the hospital. Sunburns fuckin suck!

Last year, I went on hoiliday and sat on the beach in my little shelter, reading my book, while my cousins all played about in the sea. The sun moved and crisped up the lower third of my legs a treat. My legs are so hairy, that I couldn't put any lotion on cos the hairs just got in the way. I couldn't wear any trousers, socks or shoes for a week.

Yeah... Apparently this is because I'm partly Irish, but my skin is so white I never tan, just burn.

im half italian. Im already brown (without the help of mr.sun) i dont burn i just sorta go red after 3 hours then it turns brown. no pain :D joy. lol

i got it on the back of my legs, so i was walking like a fencer. i had 2 days off skl for it. yeah! but the second worst bit is when it itches, and peels. disgusting!!!!!!

Oh hell yeah.

I said before it felt like my skin was falling off, I forget that after a while, if it's bad, it does peel off. That can't be healthy... lol

Everyone tells me I should go outside more and tan so I don't look like a geek but it doesn't help.

well im from england, and it rains alot so you dont get alot of a chance to get sunburn, only if you stay out for like two weeks

I'm part Irish and part Dutch, so I'm probably one of the whitest people you'd ever see, except that I live in Canada, so I can bike alot without getting burnt. It's only early June though, so no one really has a tan yet (unless they visited a salon - which I hate).

I got sunburned a while ago and it left a nice base tan that should develop great as the summer progresses. I am quite looking forward to it.

i walked 27 miles yesterday and it was really sunny thoe whole day. afterwards my face was quite sunburnt and my ears but otherwise i was ok, good job i wore a hat :D

Well, I move to much to get sunburnt, but sometimes the sun gets a little unbearable, so I find some shade to hide under for just a while.

I'm getting whiter and whiter, I've got to go somewhere sunny. Even though it is quite sunny already, it's just not really the skin-color-changing kind of sun.

I have a little sunburn on my nose and cheeks. I just came back from a China Studies field trip to Shan Dong province, China. We climbed a big mountain and went to Confucius' hometown. I bought lots of stuff..

Man, I got really bad sunburn on my shoulders a year ago, and acne's been popping up their ever since. But I have the perfect sunburn rememdy for you. You think aloe vera feels good? Try chilled vinegar. All you need to do is put something like tissues in your nose so you can't smell it. It will feel AWESOME.

Geez, haven't you people ever heard of sun block? They only talk about it none stop on TV, warning about skin cancer all the time. Don't be stupid, use sun block, wear a tshirt, wear a hat.

If you do get burned get something to put on it like Solarcaine or whatever that crap is with aloe vera in it. You want to keep the burn moisturized.

I use sunblock all the time when I go to a beach, but it's not that effective after a while, and after getting used to the feel of it, I don't really feel like re-aplying it. But I rarely get burnt anyway.

i know i hate sunburns and as a plus one i have a chance of getting skin cancer because my dad has it and two i have a sunburn right now and its at its worst

usually the only time I get sunburned is at drill meets for ROTC when I am outside all day. any other time, im not outside long enough to get sunburned..
