2013 Xmas Present Thread

Since tomorrow is Christmas Eve, I figured I'd get a thread started for everyone to show off their presents for all of Newgrounds to envy or laugh at.

Here are the presents I got from a Christmas exchange with my close friends.

I got:

Batman movie collection (the older ones)

Spawn action figure

Gameboy Advance

And a cheap katana (seriously, it says "CHINA" right on the blade)

So far I got a PSP with two Final Fantasy games and a bunch of chocolate. I know the original PSP is outdated but the last handheld I've held in my hands was a Gameboy Color. So yeah...

I do have a record player, and the cheaper the better. It's just a shame that the Vinyl versions have a limited production, for collector's value.

My niece got an early Christmas gift from my sister's friend. It's a system preloaded with 40 Sega Genesis games that can also play Sega Genesis cartridges and has wireless controllers modelled after the six button Sega Genesis controller. And I'm spending this week over there, so it's almost like it was partially a gift for me. I was gonna order a game cartridge or two for them, but it got too close to Christmas and I would have had to pay for faster shipping and screw that.

I got from my wife:
- Gravity Rush (PS Vita)
- Gunvari Collection + Gun (PS2) - It's a Lightgun Shooter collection, which was released only in Japan. Currently I'm collecting every Lightgun Shooter game that has been released for PS1 and PS2. Only 2 to go for the PS2 games. :D

I will get money from my in-laws (just like every year ;) ). Tomorrow I visit my mom (it's also her birthday), on the 26th I visit my father. I guess I will get more money from my parents and grand parents. ;)

My wife and I got the radio play of "The Hobbit" on LP from my in-laws. It's an old radio play from the 80s (or 70s) that was remastered and now released on 7 LPs. YAY!

Now, let's see what my mom has for us....

A couple presents not in the picture include a keurig with well over a years worth of coffee and a couple thousand dollars. Thanks Santa!

Damn. That's quite a haul.

A lot of what I got was things I knew were coming. I have a couple relatives that prefer me to pick out gifts for them, so that they don't end up getting something I don't want / wont use.
