My headphones

My favorite pair of headphones are mysteriously broke, and I don't know how to fix it. Now, only the right side plays anything unless I jiggle the cord around just right and keep it in that specific place and don't move it a tiny bit. I know this means that it's a problem with the wiring, but I don't have a clue how to fix it.
They're a $50 pair of Sony headphones, noise cancelling and all that. RIP. I'mma have to look for a new pair now.

They're pretty amazing, and only $50, although now that I have a reason to buy new ones, I'm probably gonna go all out and get like production-quality super-headphones

Yeah! I have those the sound quality is so good. If these break this might be my last headset from Sony. Might try Bose or something.

I coddle my electronics.
I see my friends abuse the wires of their HPs and wonder why they stop working. Then try to use them as speakers, turning them all the way up to show off how loud they are.

My new asshole dog bit his way through my recently purchased £80 headphones. I was annoyed but got on with it.
I was actually more upset when after several years my favourite headphones stopped working and the product had been discontinued so I could never have them again. That's disheartening.

How long had you had them?
As for me, I've been using Koss brand headphones for the last 3 years, have yet to break on me.

Not too bad. The old ones I had only lasted about 4-5 months because the part between the ear pads was really flexible, needless to say it broke after a few months of being used almost every day.

Well that sucks....I've never spent that much on headphones ever. Nor have I spent that much on earbuds.
The only headphones I have or have ever had is a pair of Labtech LT-415 that I swiped from my school because they were in a locker full of crap that my Auto Teacher was going to throw out and since they weren't even opened I decided to put em in my binder.
Have had em for like 3 years and they still work perfectly.
