Reasons for the Secession of Florida from the union for Florida to become "The Republic Of Florida":
1. Florida generates more money off its thriving economy for the federal government then it receives from the federal government. Wildly successful local business are chocked out by taxes while giant companies take over and enslave people to and cry "Free market". Florida has a huge tourism, fishing, entertainment and even offshore drilling is possible if well regulated. When I say well regulated I don't mean taxes- I mean inspections done outside of the company.
2. Florida is a very gun friendly place and gun owners are tired of hippies getting scared at the rights of the people.
3. Florida is geographically located in a location that would be easy to defend from tyrants.
4. Parts of Florida and Florida as a whole has seceded in the past with great long-term (Not short term) effects to local economy.
5. Florida's natural beauty is being filled in with cement against the will of the people. the everglades has been greatly reduced and land is being developed without any solid plan for what to do with it. In my hometown of Tallahassee there is a abandoned NEIGHBORHOOD in which that trees are growing over it and weeds are growing through the road. (It looks like Life after people on history channel) Poor development impacts the environment and secession would solve this by using REAL environmental regulation and not BS "Carbon Tax" and the shutting down of power plants necessary to provide infrastructure.
Which leads me to 6,
6. Deindustrialization of ALL STATES (Including Florida) under the guise of the environment is treason (Nobody is asking Japan and China to do it) and likewise many people do not support it.
In conclusion, Florida is a beautiful state that is very rich in history and economically booming. It would benefit WE THE PEOPLE to secede from the union.

Good luck with that. You do realize if a state secedes from the union that the US would just send it's military in the force it back in, right?
The only way for that to happen would be a reenactment of the Civil War. Several states all leave at once, then fight with the union in order to remain free, and that's ONLY if the separatists win.
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

I've said I wish Florida would be bombed off the face of the planet more times than I've said any other phrase in my life that isn't an everyday thing like "Hello there". I sold my apartment in NY and moved to Florida. It was so backwards and awful that I took a near 50,000 dollar loss just to go back to NY.

Why would any state would secede from the Union is absolutely baffling, considering what happened during the Civil War with the Confederacy. Those who support secession are either short-sighted blowhards who hate being told what to do by D.C., but can't operate without their benefits, or are simply bad at bluffing.
States will secede when pigs grow wings and fly, which is never. (Barring some sort of economic or political mega-disaster)
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Funny, I said the same thing of New York. Luckily I was just there on a trip with a friend to visit some of his relatives.

This really is a pointless thread, it's a really dumb idea and it's got 0% chance of ever happening.

If you came from the south, it would feel backwards for you too, since it's the complete opposite.
I just didn't like how people were. Very rude, nasty, and the worst drivers on earth. Zero respect or common decency, at least where I lived (Jacksonville). Also, despite the neighborhood looking very nice, it seemed like everyone was a crack head. I refuse to even drive through Florida now. My friend moved there and I refuse to go visit him, that's how bad it was. He agrees, it's the worst place he's ever been in his life, he thought I was exaggerating.
Also, I noticed people of a certain ethnicity are a lot more brutal in the south. They just have no regard for anything. In NY I would have never given anyone a second look because of race. It explains why southerners are so racist. There's good reason. That said, I lost all racist feelings once I got to NY.
To each his own, I suppose.

We have 2 separate plans for secession.
I don't really wanna talk about plan B but eventually plan B will have to be "THE" plan if peaceful revolution becomes impossible.

Plan B is when the military exterminates you and your fellow racist retard secessionists.

Funny how that works, then again, when I moved from Louisiana to Texas, things felt off for a while as well, but not as bad.

That's some parts of Florida for you.

Yeah, it's hard to respect people when they act in the manner they do. It's not all of them though, you just notice the worst ones among them.
To each his own, I suppose.

Can't quite a few of those problems be fixed without needing to secede from the rest of the US? And also how do you know that secession will make these problems go away? How about doing something proactive with the system that is already in place? You can certainly do something more on the subject of the environment than making a stupid thread on newgrounds.

Actually, secession would compound the problems of any single state that seceded. Assuming it actually managed to beat back the US military long enough for the US to grant it independence (not gonna happen), It would have to deal with ambitious people trying to topple the fledgling government, as well as the damage to infrastructure that the US military caused. On top of that there is the question of currency, among other things.
Assuming the USA would not share its military assets or sign a treaty to protect this new nation, it would be in a very vulnerable position for a long time. Obviously, the US would want to retake its lost territory, which may deter some from trying to attack and retake it. Of course, if the fledgling nation could hold off the US military, I don't think too many others would try to mess with it. But, as I said before, I doubt any single state could hold off the military without some serious help.
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

Yes, fully. But calling him racist does not diminish his position, even if it's true or not.

Why do you even post here? It's not like you respond to people's comments or anything, nor is it true that many people here agree with you. You don't seem to try to have a reasonable discussion, you just say what you want to say while snubbing liberals and then ignore every single comment as though everyone was posting praise and support rather than criticism and attacks.

Actually, that's a very good reason to post here lol. You guys are living in a cloistered cocoon thanks to Matron Camarohusky and the moderators gang. All you see here is what they want you to see here, it's what they can control, and they like to control something in their lives.

Hardly, around half the regs are conservative some of them like Korriken spend a lot of time snubbing liberals
. Unless you mean that Camaro and the mods make better arguments and are more informed then there isn't much of a cacoon going on. The only cacoon I keep seeing is the lack of feminists on here, even Camaro makes fun of the stereotypical feminist while simultaneously not addressing their arguments because they don't know them.

If any states will leave the union, it will have to be many states leaving at the same time for any succession to work (and by many I mean most states).
Drug free is how life is meant to be.
