how do i hire animators on ng 2013-12-13 01:50:34 Reply

i have been trying to hire an animator hear on new grounds but no ones responded to the open call i put in the animation bourd i think its the way i type. since i am stretched thin for monny i offered 95% of the ad rev pus huge artistic leeway and and that i would listen to there ideas for the flash on the grounds that we talk it out to prevent our ideas from clashing.

the above seemed fair i even said i would try to juggle my finances so i could pay with monny if possable so what am i doing wrong

1. You posted it 13 hours ago. Give it time.
2. Use spell-check; nobody wants to work with someone that types like a 10-year-old (no offence).
3. Even if you make a great game/movie, don't expect to get much revenue from it. Most people, even those that get on the front page, only make a couple hundred dollars, at most.

my spell checks broken but i understand
the low number monny potential is why i offered 95 % instead of say 50 50

null556 is right. You need to give it time. Newgrounds is a relatively small community, but some of the best flash animators can be found here.

If nobody responds within a week or so then I would go to the next step: Look around the Animation Forum and elsewhere for animators looking to be hired. Look at their previous work or ask for a sample. You wouldn't want to pay someone who can only make stick figures unless that's what you really want.

If that still doesn't work then you may be able to get into contact with more well known animators by browsing the portal. Find an animation you like, see when the artist was last active, and then send them a message. Of course, there will be a large price difference between your average animator and one whose animations can often be found on the front page.

Good luck. I hope your idea can be made into reality.
