The pentagon proposed it in 1994 for testing to see if it was possible. It was thought up by the Wright Lab, a part of the fucking US Air Force, which requested 7.5 mil for 6 years to work on "non-lethal weapons". Among them was something called the Gay bomb, a bomb that does exactly as you'd think, make people gay. Supposedly it worked by releasing a massive number of aphrodisiacs near enemy bases in order to make them irresistibly attracted to one another. I honestly don't know what they were smoking but to think they had the fucking gull to try and use tax dollars on this shit is amazing. But who knows? Maybe we've had the technology for a long time and now and they first tested it over...San Francisco??

Actually homosexuality in animals isn't what we'd actually call "homosexuality" as in a decision to mate with JUST males. The vast majority of the time it is simply because it is mating season and a male mistakes another male for female or simply has too much sexual energy pent up and takes it out on weaker males (think Prison). Scary shit, really.

Now not to get into this shit bomb, but I'd just like to say I take the nurture over nature side in human homosexuality. I think it is a preference that is more psychological than anything else. Especially on the grounds that it is counter productive in nature to have such an actual trait that would do such a thing, some people have said "well what if its a trait in humans to combat over population" Except that over population and any observable state of humanity can not possibly be taken into account by nature itself, nature cannot grant us advanced knowledge of things we do not know such as the number of people that make up the human species and give us traits to counter them. Whether its 3 people, or 3 trillion, nature can't counter such a thing as it can not observe, that's why every single form of population control isn't a trait, it's a behavior by animals such as crushing competing eggs, eating other animals' young, etc.

The closest thing I think our biology can be linked with homosexuality to is hormones, that is, an imbalance of them. I've often wondered if a study could be produced on a human male who takes heavy doses of Estrogen and surrounds himself with females (to assimilate with them) would it be possible to make him gay over the course of several months/years? Ridiculous on paper, but who knows? It might work. The real question is finding someone who'd be willing to do something like that.
