Once I entered the registry key/ verification key into the API. And tested. Where the Vcam wasn't used it stayed in the frame in the same x and y as the last one did skewing the entire thing.

Why do it do dat?

I've never used the vcam, but it might be the order your objects are in. Try moving the api connector all the way to the back and offscreen. If you're using the flash ad, idk =S try messing around with the order of things if you can.

That was the problem, sort of, thanks, and in case lurkers need to know, I fixed it by making a blank screen unrelated to the main timeline and stretched a new vcam symbol over it.

*Screen.

It wasn't the Vcam, the entire code is busted by the AS2 API. Ah well I'll let it go its not like i need medals or the $5 (£2.50) the game would make.

You could try the as3 vcam and as3 ng api. Surely this has been done before, you might want to ask actual animators what they did to make it work (we're mostly programmers here, sorry).

That doesn't mean that we can't write our own AS2 or AS3 v-cam right on the spot and give it to you, or, for example, fix your camera or entire FLA if you post code/FLA. In such situations, we're mostly much more helpful than animators.
