Why not go over there and take down North Korea who are brainwashing their citizens and treating them like rats and executing them for any disobedience? Or why not fight the drug cartels south of your border? They've beheaded countless people and there is no stopping it.

In my opinion, countries should only intervene in other countries political affairs in extenuating circumstances.

Natural disasters obviously being one of them

Say a government was over thrown or planning to use chemical or nuclear weapons. I think any other issue can be resolved by neighbouring countries or by the country the problem stems from.

The amount of people defecting from DPRK is increasing rapidly, and has been for the last few years. It's only a matter of time before the north has no option but to dissolve its government and reunite with the south.
Invading North Korea would result in far more lost lives than if we let them follow the same path as every other communist nation in history.
