Old people and cold weather

I find it funny how old people will go on about "back in my day we had to walk 10 miles in the snow to get to school, and we liked it!" but they'll bitch about the most mundane of winter weather.

Of course, why would old people miss out an opportunity to complain about young people AND the weather? It's like a combination of their two favorite activities.

People of all ages complain, all the time. It's human nature to do so. Also keep in mind that with higher age, in general the body has less fat and muscles and the body has a decreased basic metabolic rate ( basically responsible for heat generation) so it is easier to feel cold as old person.
