Guess it's a good thing I don't waste my time watching the Bucs game... just when you think they might be doing good they get slaughter.

'Twas unfortunate. Sorry officiating indeed. I was kind of pissed.
It's like getting to watch football and wear my Broncos jersey on game days at work makes the sport relevant to my life all of the sudden...
And the Broncos winning seems to be a trend. Their play seems haphazard (or at lease chock full of fumbles and foibles), but they're pulling it out.

Man, the SeaHawks really can't be touched at their home stadium. They're already up 17 to nothing in the first quarter. I'll be shocked if they're not in the Super Bowl this year since it's looking like the road to the Super Bowl for the NFC runs through Seattle this year...

I have been thinking the same thing for the NFC. AFC is still up in the air though. Both the Patriots and the Broncos are getting chinks in their armor, so there is getting to be a better chance of an upset somewhere.

I really liked the Seahawks to go all the way last year, and then they were away from home through the playoffs. It would be a major upset if they don't make the super bowl this time around, and they would be heavy favourites in New Jersey as well in my eyes. Scary thing is how young that team is- could be a dynasty in the making in Seattle.
I'm also loving the Redskins drive for the worst record, as I have a soft spot for the Rams. They will be in a mighty position in the draft next year with two early picks, and lots of leverage for trades from the numerous teams desperate for a QB. The NFC West looks like it will only get tougher over the next few years.

They should be heavy favorites to win the NFC, no doubt about that. As for a dynasty, I'm not so certain about that, if mostly due to the off-field discipline. Pete Carroll seems to be pretty lax when it comes to discipline, and that could be the potential downfall of the Seahawks. Plus, the Broncos and/or Patriots in the AFC will have something to say about that.
Also, As good as Russell Wilson is, he has a rather dubious history of losing the biggest games going back to college, so we shouldn't anoint them champions just yet.

The Redskins isn't that good of a team even last year. RG3 was largely successful because because they played against bad defenses and caught most teams by surprise, which is not sustainable.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
