Final Warrior Remake - Need Artist

Currently, one of my projects, Final Warrior, is up on Newgrounds and is doing OK for a game that has 3.7 stars (link provided below), but I never wanted to stop with what I had shown on here in the first place. While the whole 8bit/retro style was something I could do within my own artistic limits, I really wanted to go further with the art, and a bit of the gameplay itself, too. This remake of Final Warrior will be released on Steam, so the quality that I'm looking for is high.

Which is why I'm looking for an artist who can:

1. work part-time or full-time on this project

2. imitate or produce art quality like that of the DS versions of the Castlevania titles

3. work with a deadline and adapt to any changes in the GDD

Theme/Style of the game - Originally, I wanted to make this a mix of Castlevania style gameplay and the art of the (early) Final Fantasy series. Well, as you can see I kinda failed in regards to the art, and that's another reason why I'm having this remake. The monsters should have no more than 4-6 frames of moving animation and 4-6 frames for their death animation. As for the bosses, they will stay the same in terms of what they are and their names, but the art will have to change, and for those that don't have any animations, there will be some.

File size - No more than 60mb, as Stencyl can't hold/function properly with more than 65mb, IIRC.

I've been working on the environment art myself, so there's no need to concern yourself with that, unless you want to do that, too. Also, in my personal blogs/posts, I've made mention of an update that would include a new boss. This will be a part of the remake, as well.

I can safely say that this game would have been a classic had it been made 30 years ago. I love your game. I am way more than willing to assist you in your endeavor! I also happen to make games in stencyl so you don't have to worry about program language barrier.

Heh, thanks! I was going for that classic appeal, but my heart just wasn't in it. I want to make a game that not only I can be proud to say I made, but also anyone else who is willing to help. Send me a pm and we can talk more :)

Update: Can you please send me a portfolio? I've had dealings with some people that didn't meet the quality I was looking for and don't want to waste both of our time.
