Tails is a cute character , think he only had one game for himself though.

Actually, he had two. Tails Adventure and Tails' Skypatrol. Both were Game Gear games released in 1995 with the later of the two being a Japanese exclusive that could be beaten in about 10 minutes.

Tails isn't a bad character but he suffers from terrible voice actors. He's a good second player, though, as you get to drop into a friend's and leave at any moment without any consequence.

Also, why does every seem to think that Sonic and Dr. Robotnik are the only good characters in the franchise? Do they not realize how boring it would be if it was just those two in every game? Most of the characters are great, like Knuckles and Vector, so why would they stick to the same boring formula if they could do more?

I thought everyone stopped hating Tails when he got an actual male for a voice actor.

I think it has a lot to with the main guy and the anti hero, they always get more love than anyone else in a series for example:
Sonic and Knuckes, tails is forgotten;
Goku and Vegeta, Piccolo,trunks etc are forgotten;
Naruto and Sasuke, kakashi, shikamaru etc are forgotten;

I think in more than half the cases the fav character is Hero, or the anti hero.

You guys should be ashamed for talking about somebody behind their back.

I used to watch random episodes when I was younger but I didn't really like them. I was going to go in with a fresh mind and watch the series in chronological order as I don't remember anything about it. But then I came across this scene. Way to ruin one of the best moments in the franchise, 4Kids.

Anyway, what's does Vector do in Sonic X?

You mean Sonic, Robotnik, Tails, Knuckles, and Metal Sonic.

Except Link fights many different foes like Majora, Vaati, and Ghirahim.
For Mario, hema has fought Smithy, Fawful, and Count Bleck. To be specific about Mario, the RPGs have much better villains than the main series. When it comes to Mario platformers, it's the same "Beat Bowser Save Princess" scenario for every game. Bowser isn't remotely interesting outside of the RPGs. He's literally the "Mr. Bad Guy" of video games. Ever since Super Mario Galaxy, I'm sick of seeing him. I'd much rather see some other villain in the main series just so Nintendo can break the cycle.

Sonic has only fought Robotnik (and Black Doom, but he's generic) so more characters are added to keep the games from being stale. Or at least that was the case until recently. I hope Sonic Team won't start treating Sonic like Nintendo treats Mario, because that'll suck.

It's hard to hate Tails, because if you take him away after he was introduced, you get "Sonic Underground".

Yes, "Sonic Underground", the cartoon so awful even the Nostalgia Critic will not touch it.
