F2Ps are getting too big lately, WoW is on its last legs. I won't deny that it's still a great game (if you're into the whole endless grinding scene, which I can't deny I do enjoy), but with the state of the industry games like League of Legends are attracting everyone who doesn't already have someone to play with, who are the only people who would want a Scroll of Resurrection from you.

As much as I am all for making fun of the OP in this, this is kind of incorrect, personally playing it myself for a few years until roughly the end of cataclysm I only noticed more people playing, not a major increase but at the same time not a decrease, I tried Pandaria a little too and didn't notice any sudden loss of players. So unless something major has hit the userbase in the last few months which has gone completely unmentioned outside of the game itself you are kind of incorrect.

There are many other points that you can use though, just think of a few and have some fun with those.

I guess it is hard to notice much, as I did hear about a drop of subscriptions a while ago before the new expansion, but that seems to happen with every expansion when they reach the end then people come back for the next, so as a result those patterns of joining and leaving tend to screw up actually knowing if it is really an actual drop or gain or if it is just stuff that tends to naturally happen.

I suppose ingame it is vertually impossible to tell, as they always like to keep servers even when possible so tend to have the free migration etc. but then again on the server I played on there was a huge difference of alliance and horde, roughly 1/5 or 1/4 regular horde players compared to alliance, so it made it feel very empty on the horde side, but the alliance side felt as full as ever to not notice any gain or loss, especially with the random dungeon features where you would just get groups of people at almost all hours so it makes it look like people are always on and free to do such things.

I do have to say though, that I really never cared to look into such things so that is likely why it did pass over me if there has been an actual drop. I had been meaning to get back into the game, but with shiftwork it's pretty much not going to happen which is a tad lame as it was fun.

I think they are losing a couple thousand subscribers a month though.
